Bitget has partnered with UNICEF Luxembourg in a three-year effort to promote blockchain literacy and digital skills among youth through curricula and the Game Changers Coalition. Cryptocurrency exchange and Web3-focused company Bitget has announced a three-year partnership with UNICEF Luxembourg to boost blockchain literacy and digital competencies among youth. Bitget will join the Game Changers Coalition coordinated by the UNICEF Office of Innovation to provide blockchain education to approximately 300,000 individuals in eight countries. Bitget Academy, the educational division of Bitget, will contribute to creating UNICEF’s first interactive blockchain training module. This initiative aims to empower young students and educators with blockchain knowledge. Bitget plans to facilitate connections between UNICEF and blockchain protocols and developers to expand educational outreach. The partnership focuses on bridging the digital skills gender gap in low- and middle-income countries by providing tools for girls to engage with the digital economy. Bitget’s Blockchain4Her program supports young women with mentorship, funding, and educational resources. By collaborating with UNICEF, Bitget aims to empower girls to participate in the cryptocurrency economy. Bitget’s involvement will enable access to blockchain education for 300,000 people, including adolescent girls, teachers, parents, and mentors in eight countries. The partnership will develop an interactive blockchain training module and a scalable framework to empower young women in the digital economy. Bitget aligns with the Global Game Coalition, Micron Foundation, and Women in Games to reach 1.1 million girls by 2027. Together with UNICEF Luxembourg, Bitget seeks to equip a new generation of women for the cryptocurrency market.
