In a recent statement, Delabs Games introduced the official site for Ragnarok Libre. Ragnarok Libre is noted to be a “next-generation” idle RPG set in the Ragnarok Online universe, integrating familiar fantasy elements with blockchain-enabled, player-driven economies. The video game will feature a player-driven economy, enabling users to freely trade in-game items and “Zeny,” the franchise’s native currency, which will be convertible to $DELABS tokens once the market is live. The video game will be available directly in the Telegram mini-app community, requiring no separate installation. Currently, gamers can pre-register. Additional features include PvP battles, Guild Wars, a cooperative mode called Central Lab, and an automatic character development system called “Sharevice”.
Delabs Games noted that the game’s release is expected to draw attention from both blockchain gaming enthusiasts and long-time fans of the Ragnarok franchise. In November 2024, the game developer previously announced plans to launch a Ragnarok game on the Telegram Mini-Apps Environment in Q1 2025, with speculation indicating a reboot of Ragnarok Labyrinth.
