XRPL Introduces XLS-56d to Empower Devs With Smoother Onchain Monetization
XRPL introduces XLS-56d to empower developers with a seamless on-chain money-making process. This proposal allows bundling up to 8 actions into a single atomic transaction under one cost and signature. Features enabled include platform charges, NFT mints using fallback logic, and multi-account swaps in a streamlined transaction flow.
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is expanding its capabilities with the introduction of the XLS-56d amendment, designed by Denis Angell, to support batch transactions. This update offers atomic multi-step logic for developers to create seamless and monetizable user experiences directly on-chain. It sets a new standard for executing multiple transactions in a single action, with customizable execution logic and low fees.
XRPL recently proposed the Batch Deals (XLS-56d) upgrade, emphasizing monetization opportunities for developers. With XLS-56d, developers can package up to eight unsigned transactions into a single container, simplifying the process and making it more efficient and reliable. The update introduces four execution modes: ALLORNOTHING, ONLYONE, UNTILFAILURE, and INDEPENDENT, dictating how the bundled actions are handled.
The XLS-56d update simplifies account coordination, eliminates the need for external escrow services in certain transactions, and ensures complete rollback in case of failure. This enhancement enhances the transparency and efficiency of on-chain activities, aligning with XRPL’s commitment to innovation and user empowerment.
XRPL is actively engaging validators to support the adoption of XLS-56d on the mainnet, signaling a significant step in the evolution of the XRPL ecosystem. The integration of the Wormhole interoperability protocol further expands XRPL’s reach, connecting it with over 30 blockchains for seamless cross-chain communication and asset transfer.
While overall transaction volume experienced a slight decline in May, XRPL witnessed notable growth in NFTs and AMMs. The platform remains a hub for payment transactions, with a growing focus on NFT activities. The introduction of XLS-56d and the collaboration with Wormhole underscore XRPL’s commitment to scalability, interoperability, and institutional-grade functionality.
